A ferrite sintered magnet comprising: metal elements Ca, La, Fe and Co which are contained in such amounts that x, y and n that represents a molar ratio in the general formula Ca1-xLaxFe2n-yCoy, which is a formula showing the atom ratio of the metal elements Ca, La, Fe and Co, fulfil the formulae 0.3 ≤ x ≤ 0.6, 0.25 ≤ y ≤ 0.5 and 3 ≤ n ≤ 6; and 0.2 to 0.35 mass% inclusive of SiO2. |
