<p>[Problem] To provide an airbag device which is configured compact, increases the freedom of design of a front pillar, can be easily mounted to the front pillar, and appropriately and softly receives a pedestrian or the like by inflating in a stable state. [Solution] An airbag device is provided with: an airbag (11) which is formed by sewing a base fabric (11a) and which can be inflated by gas; and an inflator (12) which has a body (12a) mounted to the inside of the base fabric (11a) of the airbag (11) and which discharges gas. The airbag device is characterized in that the airbag (11) which has the inflator (12) mounted to the inside thereof and which is in a folded state is disposed either on a front pillar (2) at a position outside the vehicle or on a decorative member (15) disposed in the periphery of the front pillar (2).</p> |
