The present invention relates to a microdisplay device which is capable of remarkably reducing the weight and volume of an head-mounted display (HMD) terminal by embedding a HMD terminal device such as a differential signal receiver, a light-source control unit and et cetera to a backplane for HMD display and simplifies parts used for the same. A microdisplay device according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: a terminal control unit for receiving a standard image signal from the outside, converting the image into image data and image control signal which can be displayed on a microdisplay, storing the data, converting the image data and image control signal into a differential signal and outputting; and a HMD terminal unit which is worn by a user for receiving the differential signal from the terminal control unit, converting the image data and image control signal into a TTL signal or an LVCMOS signal and displaying the signal.
