Disclosed are a trigger device of an optical detector and an optical detector with the trigger device. The trigger device of the optical detector comprises: a trigger switch (1) for starting the optical detector to give out a detection light when being triggered; a hollow light-passing shaft (2) for detecting light to pass through an inner cavity thereof and reach an object to be detected, with the light-passing shaft and the trigger switch having fixed relative positions; and a movable trigger (3) which can move close to or far away from the trigger switch relative to the light-passing shaft so that the trigger switch is triggered or reset. The trigger device of the optical detector automatically triggers and discontinues the detection operation of the optical detector in time through the movement of the movable trigger relative to the trigger switch, and can improve the triggering speed and efficiency of the trigger device.
