<p>The disclosed embodiments provide a system that processes transaction data. During operation, the system obtains the transaction data for a set of financial transactions between a set of users and a set of organizations. Next, the system uses the transaction data to calculate a set of preference scores for the users and the organizations. Finally, the system generates recommendations associated with the users and the organizations from the preference scores without obtaining explicit preferences for the organizations from the users.</p> |
