A terminal and a data managing method thereof are provided to classify and display data included in an execution list into executable files and non-executable files, thereby managing data more conveniently. If the display of an execution list is requested(S301), a controller shows a screen for selecting the execution list stored in a built-in memory in a display unit(S303). The controller determines whether the execution list is selected or not(S305). If the execution list is selected, the controller determines whether an external memory is mounted in the current terminal(S307). If not, the controller classifies the data included in the selected execution list into internal data and external data(S309), and then displays the internal data as executable data and the external data as non-executable data(S311). |
