<p>Use of at least one polyurethane urea obtained by reacting (a) a single polyisocyanate component comprising greater than 75 mole% isophorone diisocyanate, (b) at least one polymeric polyol component, (c) at least one hydrophilizing component and (d) a single amino-functional chain extender component comprising greater than 75 mole% isophorone diamine, for preparing skin cosmetic compositions and hair cosmetic compositions, preferably leveling agents for permanent waving, curl relaxer, styling wrap lotion, hair shaping compositions, hair dyes, hair tonics, conditioners and shampoos, is claimed. Independent claims are also included for: (1) use of a cosmetic composition comprising the polyurethane urea obtainable by the above method, in skin- or hair cosmetics, preferably agents for styling by permanent waving, curl relaxer, styling wrap lotions, hair shaping compositions, or hair dyes, hair tonics or conditioners and shampoos for dyeing-, cleaning and care of the hair; (2) use of a composition comprising the polyurethane urea obtained by the above method, for obtaining a shape-memory effect on body tissue; (3) cleaning-, caring- and/or protecting the skin or achieving a styling effect of the hair by permanent waving, an effect of smoothing the hair, an effect of introducing curls into their hair, a hair shaping effect and a coloring-, cleansing- or conditioning effect of hair, by applying a composition comprising the polyurethane urea on body tissue; and (4) fixing eyelashes upswing, comprising applying a composition comprising the polyurethane-urea on skin or hair.</p> |
