An embodiment of the present invention relates to a CCTV image storage device and a method for storing an image using the same. A technical challenge to solve is to reduce a cost of installation and management by storing a high-resolution image as a relatively small capacity of a hard disk. An embodiment of the present invention discloses, for the CCTV image storage device for storing image signals captured by a CCTV via a built-in hard disk as data, the CCTV image storage device comprising a signal processing means which signal processes to separately store image signals and image signals in which events are occurred for a prescribed period among the image signals captured by the CCTV by separating regions of the hard disk. |
