A dispenser suitable for dispensing a viscous fluid, the dispenser having a main body member 70 with an internal tapering female thread (78, fig 2). A male engaging member (80, fig 5) has a male thread (84, fig. 5) and/or a plurality of thread engaging members/protrusions mounted on a support frame (82, fig. 5). A first resilient means (106, fig. 5) is connected to said support frame to bias the male thread (84) or said plurality of thread engaging members/protrusions radially outwards so that they continuously abut against said tapered female thread (78, fig.2) as the male engaging member (80, fig.5) traverses said female thread (78, fig.2). This self-adjusting thread member provides a smoother dispensing operation. |
