<p>A method is described that transmits data between terminals (UE1, UE2) of a wireless communication system. The wireless communication system has a core network (106, 108) and at least one radio access network (114) coupled to the core network (106, 108). Data is transmitted between at least two terminals (UE1, UE2) of the wireless communication system co-located in a common coverage area of the at least one radio access network (114), wherein the data is transmitted between the at least two terminals (UE1, UE2) via the entities (100, 102a-c, 104a-c) of the at least one radio access network (114) without going outside the at least one radio access network (114).</p> |
