3-DIMENSIONAL NANOPLASMONIC STRUCTURE AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME

A three-dimensional nanoplasmonic structure comprises: a substrate; a plurality of nanorods formed on the substrate; and a plurality of metal nanoparticles formed on the surfaces of the nanorods. The manufacturing method comprises: a step of growing the nanorods on the substrate; a step of forming metal layers on the surface of the nanorods; and a dewetting step which makes the metal layers into particles by heat treatment.
