Described are a hot-desking application and method for operating the same. The hot-desking application is prepared as an explicit sequenced application for the record of all user addresses in addition to an implicit sequenced application for all possible hot-desk endpoint addresses. Through the preparation, the hot-desking application directly receives a call from a hot-desk endpoint, but still the record of the user address is shown as call identity.
