The present invention relates to an electrochromic device and a method for manufacturing the same. More particularly, the present invention relates to an electrochromic device with uniform chromic property and a method for manufacturing the same. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the electrochromic device and the method for manufacturing the same include a spacer. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the electrochromic device includes an electrolyte layer with a squire spacer. The electrolyte layer is formed with a constant distance.
