PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve heat dissipation property of an electronic controller for vehicle. SOLUTION: In an electronic controller 10 for vehicle which is configured to include a circuit board 20 on which a heating element HE is mounted and a housing 30 accommodating the circuit board 20 therein, on at least one surface of an inner surface and an outer surface of a body 32 or a cover 34 which compose the housing 30, a surface treatment, such as coating or electrodeposition of an insulating material that promotes heat absorption and emission, or alumite treatment is processed. In addition, on the inner surface of the cover 34 that seals an aperture of the body 32 accommodating the circuit board 20, a projection 34A extending toward the heating element HE is formed closer to the heating element HE of the circuit board 20. Heat generated in the heating element HE is transferred to the cover 34 through the projection 34A and dissipated from the outer surface of the cover 34 to the atmosphere.
