A lightning protection system (10) for a wind turbine (1) with a tower (2), a nacelle (3) at the top of the tower (2), a blade hub (4) rotating about a rotational axis (a) at a front end of the nacelle (3) and a blade (5) attached to the blade hub (4), comprises an inner conductor (11) inside the blade (5), an outer conductor (12) arranged outside the blade (5) and being in electrical communication with the inner conductor (11), a collecting conductor (13) arranged at the front end of the nacelle (3) and being in electrical communication with the outer conductor (12) and a down-conductor (14) connected to ground and being in electrical communication with the collecting conductor (13), wherein the outer conductor (12) and the collecting conductor (13) comprise substantially the same distance to the rotational axis (a). |
