<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electronic equipment which improves the operability of an input operation to a software keyboard and a virtual pointing device, and an input control method. <P>SOLUTION: According to an embodiment, the electronic equipment includes: first region setting means for setting a first region including a plurality of input regions in a touch screen display; second region setting means for setting a second region in a region common to the first region; operation detecting means for detecting whether a touch operation to the common region is a first operation in which a time from being touched to being released is shorter than a set time or a second operation in which the time is equal to or longer than the set time; first output means for outputting first data corresponding to an input region including a position subjected to the touch operation when the first operation is detected; and second data output means for outputting second data indicating the position subjected to the touch operation when the second operation is detected. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
