Refrigerant type dryer

The dryer has a refrigerant circuit comprising a compressor (1) such as turbo compressor, a gas cooler (3), a vaporizer (2) that is arranged to dehumidify air that is guided past around a secondary surface of a cold surface. An expansion valve is arranged for the dryer, and carbon dioxide is used as refrigerant. A temperature controlled refrigerant collector is connected parallel to the expansion valve, and the collector is provided with an inlet and outlet. The flow of refrigerant from the refrigerant collector is controllable.
