An object is that a liquid injection container used to inject a liquid into a liquid container that supplies the liquid to a liquid ejecting apparatus injects a liquid into the liquid container while being in a stable position. Provided is a liquid injection container that is used to inject a liquid into a liquid container that supplies the liquid to a liquid ejecting apparatus. The container includes a containing unit that contains the liquid that is to be injected; an injection port that is inserted into an inlet of the liquid container and that allows the liquid contained in the containing unit to be injected to the liquid container therethrough; and a positioning member that maintains the position of the injection port and the position of the liquid container relative to each other in a direction in which the injection port is inserted into the liquid container while the liquid is injected into the liquid container.
