A feed device (6) of fibre in tufts to a carding machine comprises a silo (8), a feed roller (14), an opening roller (30), a basin (22) and a blowing duct (50), which the current of conveying air is channelled in and which comes out on the opening roller. An end compartment (70) is delimited by a lower permeable wall (72) beyond which an intermediate compartment (74) and a second recovery compartment (80) are positioned; the intermediate compartment (74) is separated from the second recovery- chamber by a partition (76) responsive to the current of air to regulate the exit of air towards the second recovery compartment (80) in proportion to the current of air. |
