PURPOSE: An apparatus and method for manufacturing an E-book synchronized with audio data are provided to access synchronized audio data even if an arbitrary sentence in text data is selected by synchronizing the position information of the sentence with audio data. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for manufacturing an E-book synchronized with audio data comprises a sentence extraction unit (110), a sentence matching unit (120), a synchronization unit (130), and a control unit (140). The sentence extraction unit receives audio and text data and stores the data in first and second sentence pools. The sentence matching unit determines a first sentence in the first sentence pool matching with a second sentence in the second sentence pool. The synchronization unit synchronizes the time code of the first sentence with the second sentence and stores the synchronized time code. The control unit controls matching and synchronizing through the sentence matching unit and the synchronization unit until sentences to be matched do not exist.
