The present invention relates to a protaetiamycine antibiotic peptide derivative with high antibacterial activities against multidrug resistant bacteria and its use, and more specifically, to a protaetiamycine antibiotic peptide derivative derived from Protaetia brevitarsis seulensis larva and its use as antibacterial agent against multidrug resistant bacteria. According to one embodiment of the present invention, provided is an antimicrobial peptide with amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO: 1.
