A method for a direct wireless data exchange in an ad hoc mode between moving traffic participants (10a, 10b, 10c, 11) in a traffic telematic system uses the TETRA DMO standard frame structure of four timeslots per frame and 18 frames per multiframe. Any traffic participant (10a), if it expects a vacant transmission channel, assumes the role of a master and transmits its data during a transmission cycle with a length of exactly two time slots by sending exactly one synchronization burst in one time slot, which prepares a traffic participant (10b) for the reception of a payload burst immediately following the synchronization burst, and the master (10a), following this exactly one synchronization burst, sends its payload burst in the immediately subsequent time slot, and the master (10a) hereafter concludes its transmission of this payload burst without sending another synchronization burst or another payload burst in this transmission cycle. In an alternative embodiment, each participant uses a GNSS receiver to synchronise to a common reference time and 72 payload bursts can be transmitted per multiframe.
|
