An infusion apparatus suitable for preparing a beverage using any one or any combination of infusion, brewing and/or extraction includes a container 1 within which is located a first filter means 7 and at least a second filter means 12. The first and second filter means include one or more apertures in the same and the substance used to prepare the beverage is located substantially between the first and second filter means in use 14 and the size of the one or more apertures in the first and second filter means is substantially the same and/or identical. The first and/or second filter means may include a rod means 4, 8. The rod means 8 on the second filter means may be substantially hollow. |
