The attachment unit (20) has a retaining element (32) i.e. retaining arm, on which lens elements (33, 34) i.e. ophthalmoscopic magnifiers, are arranged. A positioning unit (21) positions the retaining element and the lens elements with respect to an optical observation equipment (10) i.e. microscope, and/or a focusing device. The retaining element is arranged on the positioning unit. A covering cap (60) is provided for the focusing device and fastened to a retaining unit (38) via a fastening unit (35) e.g. screw. The covering cap is connected with the focusing device. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a revolver for rotatable arrangement of two lens elements on an attachment unit for an optical observation equipment (2) an optical observation equipment.
