The machine has a brewing device including a brewing chamber for extracting coffee grounds. A marc container (8) is removably arranged for cleaning purpose. The container receives a marc cake i.e. extracted coffee ground, resulting from a brewing process. An elongate rib is provided in the marc cake for molding break molds. A breaking unit (12) i.e. passive breaking unit, breaks the cake. The rib includes a molding section in a marc cake front side. The molding section is provided as a component of a filter screen and/or a brewing chamber bottom, which is axially displaceable in the chamber. |
