PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method that facilitates inhibiting aggregation which occurs during fine particles are preserved, and reduces variations in signal intensity caused by the aggregation. SOLUTION: In the method, a solution of PEG having an average molecular weight of≥2M is added to a fine particle suspension to inhibit the aggregation of fine particles. The fine particle preservative solution contains PEG having an average molecular weight of≥2M. The fine particles are magnetic fine particles, and the particle diameter of the fine particles is≤1μm.
