The present invention relates to a gel polymer electrolyte composition and an electrochromic device using the same, and more specifically, to a gel polymer electrolyte composition which comprises a polymerization initiator and 4-6 functional acrylic compounds, whereby the composition suppresses a yellowing phenomenon, thereby improving a decrease in transmittance; improves ion conductivity so that response speed becomes fast when applied to the electrochromic device; and facilitates adjustment of reaction speed and hardness during polymerization, and expansion and contraction of the volume are small thereby enabling a manufacture process and product stability maintenance, and to an electrochromic device using the same.
