PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a planting machine capable of accurately planting bulbs. SOLUTION: In this planter 1, an open/close drive unit 83 includes: a pair of right and left drive arms 120 and 120 which are turnably supported on both the right and left sides of a rotating body frame 74, the outsides of which are protruded outward and sideward from right and left ends of the rotating body frame 74, respectively and which are turned by abutting on a pair of right and left cam bodies 72 and 72; and a linking mechanism which connects the pair of right and left drive arms 120 and 120 and a hole opening unit 82 together.
