A cleaning product comprising a bag 10 which is divided into at least a first 12, second 14 and third compartments. The first compartment contains a solvent 32 which may comprise an alcohol based solution, water or alcohol and may further comprise a dye and/or a fragrance. The second compartment 12 contains a chemical substance 34 which may be a liquid or a powder and may include a high level disinfectant, a precursor of peracetic acid or a chlorine precursor. The chemical substance 34 may be soluble in the solvent to produce a disinfectant. The third compartment contains at least one cloth 36, which may be a plurality of cloths. The volume of the solvent may be substantially equal to or less than the maximum volume which can be absorbed by the at least one cloth. The compartments of the product are separated by one or more openable barriers, which may prevent fluid communication between compartments, and may be frangible. The at least one barrier between the compartments may be a burst seam. The second compartment may be situated between the first and third, and the barrier separating it from the first compartment may be easier to open than the barrier between the second and third compartments. |
