The present invention discloses a device for three-dimensional display based on random constructive interference principle. It modulates the amplitude and phase of incident laser beam with amplitude-phase-modulator-array and produces randomly distributed coherent secondary light source array by means of reflective or transmission holographic optical elements or binary optical elements, or microlenses with oblique axes. It forms discrete 3D images via constructive interference of light rays coming from these coherent secondary light sources. It uses low resolution gray scale liquid crystal panels and adopts a strategy of three primary color laser beams illuminate different sub-divisions to achieve color 3D display in real time. The invention could be widely applied in 3D display for computer and television, 3D human-machine interaction, robotic vision etc. |
