The device (1) has a foot (5) for supporting panels that are movably connected with each other by connectors. An accommodating device is partially retractable into ground. A lifting mechanism i.e. scissor mechanism, is designed to raise the panels from the accommodating device and lower the panels into the accommodating device. The panels are foldable in barrel-shape around the foot and lifting mechanism. The accommodating device is provided for accommodating the folded panels together with the foot and lifting mechanism. The panes have LEDs or laser modules for displaying image information. The LEDs are designed as superluminescent LEDs (SLEDs) or organic LEDs (OLEDs).
