The present invention relates to a dishwasher comprising: a lower arm chamber receiving washing water; an attachable and detachable chamber communicated with the lower arm chamber through a chamber communication hole; a lower arm which is communicated with the lower arm chamber through an arm passage communication hole and which has an arm passage spraying washing water to the a lower rack; a water supplying pump supplying washing water to the lower arm chamber; a tower nozzle which is provided in the lower rack for spraying washing water to the upper rack; a tower connecting unit which is discharged from the attachable and detachable chamber according to internal water pressure of the attachable and detachable chamber and which supplies washing water to the tower nozzle by being connected with the tower nozzle when discharged from the attachable and detachable chamber; and a passage switching unit which is provided in the lower arm chamber and which alternately opens the arm passage communicating hole and the chamber communicating hole according to internal water pressure of the lower arm chamber.
