The present invention relates to a manufacturing method for polycyclohexylenedimethylene terephthalate resin comprising: a step of manufacturing a liquid mixture by mixing terephthalic acid (TPA) or dimethyl terephthalate (DMT) in a diol compound including cyclohexanedimethanol (CHDM) dissolved in water; and a step of performing bubbling while putting and stirring nitrogen in the liquid mixture. The manufacturing method for polycyclohexylenedimethylene terephthalate resin according to the present invention is able to produce a polycyclohexylenedimethylene terephthalate resin with excellent polymerization, color, color stability and improved thermal stability. The polycyclohexylenedimethylene terephthalate resin according to the present invention is suitable for being used as an LED housing material in which surface mounting technology (SMT) is applied.
