PURPOSE: A T-type electric toothbrush is provided to have the effect that the upward brushing or the downward brushing is possible as the brush is operated in rotation or reverse rotation. CONSTITUTION: A T-type electric toothbrush comprises a handle (10) which has a control element including an electric motor equipped in a case, and a button installed in the case so as to control the rotation of the electric motor; a head (12) which includes a gear box (38) receiving the motor rotary power from the electric motor of the handle; first and second brushes (14,16) which have a rotary shaft in the horizontal direction, are assembled to be symmetrically arranged on both sides of the gear box, and rotate with the gear rotary power which is converted from the motor rotary power by the gear box; a movable handle (18) which is fixed to the case of the handle and assembled to be attachable/detachable to the head; and a rotator (20) which delivers the motor rotary power of the electric motor of the handle to the gear box, and is attachable/detachable to the gear box. |
