The present invention relates to a gas exhaust system which can change the flowing direction of an exhaust gas discharged from the chimney of a ship; and which can discharge the exhaust gas in one direction without dispersing the exhaust gas into variety of directions. The gas exhaust system comprises a cut-off plate which has an indented surface indented inwards, a gas outlet on the indented surface to discharge a gas, and a vent to discharge air; a gas exhaust pipe connected to the gas outlet to discharge a gas through the gas outlet; and a vent pipe connected to the vent to discharge air through the vent; and a direction adjustment device joined to the cut-off plate to adjust the direction of the cut-off plate. |
