The present invention relates to a textile for a blind and a manufacturing method thereof. The textile for a blind is woven with the weft by using, as warp threads, general threads having inner layers, which are oriented outward of the threads, wound around one or more general thread warp beams. Metal deposition layers are formed on the exteriors of metal deposition threads, which are the warp threads of outer layers, as the textile is intermittently woven with the weft by using, as the warp threads, the metal deposition threads having the outer layers, which are oriented outward of the threads, wound around the metal deposition thread warp beam. The inner layers and the outer layers intermittently combined by the weft are made to adhere to each other by thermal treatment. Therefore, the efficiency of reflecting light can be increased by easily reflecting light coming through a window using a small amount of the metal deposition threads, which are more expensive than general raw threads, with respect to the total weight of the textile and heat coming through the textile for a blind installed on a window frame can be shielded efficiently because the present invention has, on one surface of the textile, the outer layers which are surface layers by untwisted metal deposition threads, by using, as the warp threads, the metal deposition threads which are manufactured by cutting a metal deposition film without twisting. |
