PURPOSE: A composition containing necrox-5 as an active ingredient for preventing or treating bronchial asthma is provided to reduce total number of inflammatory cells, lymphocytes, neutrophils, and eosinophils in bronchoalveolar lavage fluid of an asthma-induced mouse. CONSTITUTION: A composition for preventing or treating bronchial asthma contains necrox-5 as an active ingredient. Necrox-5 reduces the number of total inflammatory cells, lymphocytes, neutrophils, eosinophils and relieves hypersensitivity of airway and airway inflammation. |
