The present invention relates to a thermosetting polyurethane resin composition used in a solar cell module and use thereof and, more specifically, to a two component type thermosetting polyurethane resin composition which comprises: urethane prepolymers (1) obtained by making alicyclic structure isocyanate (A) react with hydroxyalkyl denaturation polymer siloxane (B) and making ingredients react with polyol (C) in order to improve vapor transmission rate and weather resistance; and a curing agent (2) using low molecular weight polypropylene glycol (D) as essential ingredients and use thereof. Manufactured can be a solar cell module with excellent physical properties in an appropriate thickness, having: heat resistance preventing a deformation when the composition is exposed to the outside for a long time under high temperatures when the composition is coated on the outside of the solar cell module; high transparency for inducing excellent sunlight penetration efficiency; and moisture permeability resistance for preventing vapor from penetrating a molded product when the composition is exposed to the outside with high temperature and humidity for a long time.
