The present invention relates to a coin depositing apparatus capable of being used to deposit coins in various places including a mart, a bank, etc. The coin depositing apparatus includes: a temporary storage bucket which includes an input module, a transfer module, an identification module, and a deposit suspension module, wherein the deposit suspension module has an open upper and lower parts and receives normal coins; a lower plate which is arranged in the lower part of the temporary storage bucket in order to close the lower opening part of the temporary storage bucket; and a bucket driving unit which makes the temporary storage bucket reciprocate along the surface of the lower plate in order to selectively close the lower opening part of the temporary storage bucket by the lower plate. The input module includes: a hopper to which coins are inputted; and a channel part which guides the inputted coins to the transfer module by being formed in the lower side of the hopper. The present invention is able to smoothly transfer all inputted coins for depositing and not only reduce the damage of driving force but also reduce electric power consumed in a coin input device by compactly designing a part which is operated in a module for temporarily storing coins before depositing the coins. |
