The present invention relates to an eco-friendly stone mattress for protecting a riverbank and a sloping surface by fixing riprap on the riverbank or the sloping surface. The eco-friendly stone mattress for protecting a riverbank and a sloping surface comprises a covering net (40) which includes: a border member (41) made of a metal material; and a net member (42) which has a plurality of wires arranged to cross each other and of which circumference is fixed to the border member (41), wherein the net member (42) is supported by the border member (41) so as to prevent that the covering net (40) gets twisted to make it difficult to firmly fix the riprap when a worker steps the covering net (40) or when a floor net (20) and the covering net (40) are fixed to each other using net fixing means (50).
