[Class 52 (iii)] A book rest comprises a flat base 1 provided with one or more folding shelves 4 and adapted to be suspended in front of the user. The end 2 of the base is adapted to rest against the user's body and the other end of the base is suspended by a cord 3 passed around the user's neck. The foldable shelves 4 are supported by hinged supports 6, pivoted clips 7 being provided to hold down the pages of the book 5. |
