The present invention relates to a tidal current power generation system. A tidal current power generation system (100) that is adjacent to the water surface of a river is built in a side portion of a river bank (1). The tidal current power generation system (100) includes a waterway pipe portion (10) that has the shape of a concrete pipe and forms a multi-layer waterway with river water inflow ports (12) for the inflow of river water stepped downward with at least 200 to 300 meter sections in one end portion; an inclined waterway pipe portion (20) that is formed to extend from a terminal end of the waterway pipe portion (10) with a shape increasingly narrowing at a length of 200 to 300 meters so as to increase the speed of the water flowing in through the waterway pipe portion; a power generation pipe portion (30) that extends from the point of terminal end of the inclined waterway pipe portion (20) and has multiple generators (T) arranged therein, an inlet/outlet path (32) which communicates with an inner portion of the generator and a hatch (34) which opens and closes the inlet/outlet path being provided on an upper portion side where the generators are arranged. The tidal current power generation system according to the present invention is built in the side portion of the river bank within a range of not damaging the ecosystem of the river, and allows the river water flowing along the river to pass through and join the waterway pipe portion forming each of the multi-layer waterways according to the height of the water level, to be converted to have a high flow speed through the inclined waterway pipe portion, and to improve the efficiency of power generation through the multiple generators arranged in the power generation pipe portion. Also, a person concerned related to the generators can be easy access into the generators for easier inspection and repair. |
