Disclosed are a signal conditioning device and a method for conditioning the signal. The signal conditioning device according to the present invention comprises: an input section receiving a first audio signal by a bone conduction microphone; a signal conditioning section generating a second audio signal having the frequency in the prescribed critical frequency band using frequency contents of the first audio signal and generating an amplified audio signal by combining the first and second audio signals; a storage section storing a global filter; a filter controlling section controlling the global filter by considering the frequency contents of the first audio signal; and a noise removal section removing the noise of the amplified audio signal which applies the controlled global filter value. Therefore, users can get a high level of sound quality even in an extremely noisy environment using the bone conduction microphone.
