GENERATING JNDD(JUST NOTICEABLE DEPTH DIFFERENCE) MODEL OF 3D DISPLAY, METHOD AND SYSTEM OF ENHANCING DEPTH IMAGE USING THE JNDD MODEL

A method for generating a just noticeable depth difference (JNDD) model comprises the steps of: controlling an actual size of an object in order to maintain a perceived size of the object for each of a plurality of testing depth levels; measuring JNDD for a 3D display from each of the plurality of testing depth levels as the actual size of the object increases or decreases; and generating a JNDD model for the 3D display based on the measured result.
