The invention relates to a machine for beating and expanding woven fabric comprising a drum adapted to rotate from a shaft and provided with a device for fabric expanding in the form of two spiral elements wound on a drum from the center to edges and is an elliptically-sectioned shape, wherein the drum parts arranged from the side of ellipse greater axis serve for performing cross-linear impact beating on woven fabric and drum parts arranged from the side of ellipse lesser axis serve for sliding fabric preventing its winding on the drum.
