The present invention relates to a system and method for credit card payment using a wireless communication terminal, the system comprising: the wireless communication terminal which includes a keypad for inputting transmission information by accessing and being connected through a network and a display for displaying reception information, downloads the reception information, and converts the received reception information into a barcode for credit card payment authentication to be displayed; an authentication generation server which is connected to the wireless communication terminal through the network, and transmits the displayed reception information to the wireless communication terminal; a barcode recognition terminal which recognizes the converted barcode for authentication if user information is input through the keypad for inputting the transmission information; and an authentication server which is linked to the authentication generation server, determines whether authentication reception information regarding the wireless communication terminal receiving the reception information can be generated or not, transmits the determination result to an authentication transmission sever, and reads and authenticates user credit information received from the barcode recognition terminal by being linked to a financial company and a card company.
