PURPOSE: A spool configuration of the AC generator for a vehicle is provided to improve durability by decentralizing the applied load from the rotor coil into the integral part of the spool ear. CONSTITUTION: Two spool ears(225) supporting one end(217a) of the rotor coil are formed in the rear upper side of the AC generator for a vehicle. The neck(225a) is concavely formed in the intermediate area of the part projected from the outside of the spool bobbin(219). The groove(225b) is formed along the outer circumference of the spool ear projected from the spool bobbin. The rotor coil surrounds the spool ear to decentralize the load to the whole area of the spool ear. The wing portion(225c) is projected from the upper side of the spool ear along the groove. |
