PURPOSE: A water turbine generator for a vessel is provided to rotate the water turbine generator installed inside a rudder by using the strong tide delivered from a propeller of the vessel, thereby generating electricity. CONSTITUTION: A water turbine generator for a vessel includes a rudder (20), and a turbine generator unit (50). The rudder has a streamlined cross section bilaterally symmetric around a central shaft of a propeller in the rear side of the propeller and is connected by a rudder horn to be rotated. The turbine generator unit is installed on the central portion of a hollow of the rudder. The turbine generator unit is composed of a plurality of sets. Each set of the turbine generator is composed of a generator set, a gear (58), and a turbine (70). The generator sets are vertically laminated inside a partitioning wall (60). |
