<p>Provided in the present invention is an apparatus for driving an electric bicycle, which comprises: a transmission mode control unit which outputs a low speed mode signal or a high speed mode signal; a control unit which receives the low speed mode signal or the high speed mode signal outputted from the transmission mode control unit, and outputs a first control signal corresponding to the low speed mode signal or a second control signal corresponding to the high speed mode signal; a first motor driving unit which outputs a first motor driving signal in order to drive a motor in low speed mode by receiving the first control signal when the transmission mode control unit outputs the low speed mode signal; a second motor driving unit which outputs a second motor driving signal in order to drive the motor, rotated by the driving force of the first motor driving signal, in high speed mode by receiving the second control signal when the transmission mode control unit outputs the high speed mode signal; a motor driving load boosting unit which receives battery power from a battery by the control of the control unit and boosts the load of the second motor driving signal outputted from the second motor driving unit for outputting the second motor driving signal when the transmission mode control unit outputs the high speed mode signal; and a motor transmission switching unit which is turned on by selectively receiving a switching actuation signal from the control unit in order to provide the second motor driving signal including the boosted load to the motor.</p> |
