COMPLIANT DYNAMIC TRANSLATION ZONES FOR CONTACT LENSES

A contact lens having an optic zone with a superior region including far distance correction optics and an inferior region including near correction optics, the contact lens incorporating one or more compliant dynamic translation zones fabricated from a material that is readily deformable under eyelid pressure during blinking and which allows for the control over translation of the contact lens on the eye. The one or more compliant dynamic translation zones provide for the comfortable relative movement of the contact lens over the eye.
